• Finance, business analysis & development;

• Administrative / clerical / secretarial;
• Human Resources;
• Information Technology; and
• Safety and Environmental Management.
Premier Coal has a long history of providing apprenticeships for local youth and at any one time has up to 20 undergoing indentures. In addition, the company provides a similar number of tertiary students with vacation employment as well as work experience for local high school students.
Leadership development is also considered vital and many of our people have undergone various management development programs, including the Frontline Leadership Program.
Vital to our business is the safety and health of our employees. Premier Coal provides an onsite medical centre and nurse as well as health programs and a free, confidential employee assistance program through an external service provider.
